Course Description
Although real estate is generally a safe profession, any situation can pose danger. In an effort to be successful and provide great customer service, licensees often meet strangers alone, in vacant properties, with very little information about the potential client(s). In this course, we will explore basic safety measures that can help protect licensees and their clients.
Course Objectives
- Recognize some basic ways to pre-screen a prospective client
- Employ a number of useful tools to help maintain their safety
- Identify the methods to avoid potentially dangerous encounters
- Identify common items that are vulnerable to theft during property showings
- Explain to seller clients the safeguards to implement prior to showings and taking photos
- List some pros and cons of using a lock box on a listing
- Arrange a showing or open house and properly secure the property afterward
